In the grand wedding hall, where immediately enveloped in the vibrant atmosphere of a big fat Indian wedding. The air was alive with the hum of laughter, music, and chatter, a cacophony of joy that was infectious. The decorations were a feast for the eyes intricate flower arrangements, sparkling lights, and elaborate stage settings that seemed to shimmer and shine in the light. The guests were a rainbow of colors, their traditional attire looking classy yet elegant. The world's top businessmen with their families, politicians, and celebrities created a powerful sense of community that pervaded the atmosphere.
Just then, a girl in her 20s wearing a pink pastel shimmery lehenga with blue stone jewelry The lehenga hugged her body, highlighting her curves. Her wheatish skin glowed under the moonlight. Her dark hazel eyes were filled with tears, and her button nose became red due to crying. Though, her heart was overjoyed after helping her sister to get eloped with her boyfriend, yet deep down, that sense of unease lingered within her but what about their families? Who could even kill each other? How would their family react if they found out she eloped from her own wedding with their family rival's son? What about their reputation? What if they killed them? If they found out she was the one who helped her sister elope, would her family spare her? With many thoughts swirling in her mind, she came running towards the wedding mandap where all her family members stood, waiting for the bride to come.
The atmosphere was pleasant, but it quickly turned tense as she approached. Her father, brother, and mother giving the letter written by her sister their faced her with hardened anger. Their bodies trembled with rage as they glared at Sitara, who was shivering under their gaze. A tight slap landed on her face from her mother, who was angrily looking at her with rage.
Sitara whispered, "Maa"
keeping her hand on her cheek with tears. The music stopped, and the whole hall became silent, with her slap resounding in every corner.
Everyone's mouth hung down in disbelief, yet they were helpless and enjoyed the show. Another sound of a slap echoed in the hall, this time from her father. She cried hard, closing her eyes with humiliation, getting it from her own family. What could she expect from her own toxic family? They were ready to even abandon her! But they had a reputation that was the barrier to abandoning her. Wasn't she their own daughter? Then why were they behaving like this? Just her mistake changed her relationship with them?
Aditya, her brother, came taking long strides towards her, holding her forearm and yanking her towards the side bride room. He pushed her, making her fall on the bed.
Sitara pleaded, "Bhai, listen to me once."
Aditya blazed with anger, boring his gaze into her, showing his index finger, and spoke,
"Sitara, say where Meera and that bastard Gautham are, or else you will face the worst of me. Which you will hate! Already, Papa and Maa are angry with this chaos. Almost our reputation might tarnish. Say where they are. I know it was you who helped Meera elope from the wedding. Better say before something happens that makes you regret."
He sternly said to Sitara, his voice held cold, with a tinge of warning towards her.
Sitara sobbed, "Bhai, I really don't know anything! Trust me."
She knew lying was the biggest mistake, but for the sake of her sister, she was ready to do anything. She just wanted her to be safe and happy, and she knew her sister's happiness was with Gautham. She found her love, home, and heaven in him. Couldn't she bear a slight pain for her sister, who sacrificed everything for her sake? She gave her food to her and slept starving.
Meera shared her clothes, money, everything; in simple terms, she was the one who took care of her needs, even her education. Meera sacrificed her dreams of studying and educated Sitara when her parents didn't provide anything to Sitara; she was nothing but trash to them. Who didn't even care about her existence? It was always her sister who provided her own luxury life to her sister.
Aditya, the elder brother of them, who was sent abroad for his education, yet he loved his sisters but was like his father, a complete toxic person who always cared about their reputation and revenge. He knew his parents hated Sitara and always pampered him and Meera only. But he never took this topic or spoke with anyone. He made sure they both were fine and safe. Though he never showered love on them, deep inside, he loved them. His heart clenched, seeing his sister crying; a part of him wanted to believe her, but he was blind in revenge, anger, frustration,
His heart clenched as he saw his sister crying. A part of him wanted to believe her, but he was blind with revenge, anger, and frustration, unable to see her pain. His father and mother entered the room with angry faces and started slapping her. Aditya wanted to stop them, but being an obedient person, he stood there.
"Tell us where your sister is, you bitch!" his father yelled.
"Maa, please stop hitting me; it's hurting me. Please stop; I didn't do anything," Sitara begged, but her mother didn't stop.
Tanik Oberai, her father, was an arrogant and heartless person who only cared about his reputation. He loved his son, Gautham, and daughter, Meera, but Sitara was an exception. His wife, who was sweet with everyone and loved everyone, hated Sitara and felt burdened by her existence. But for the sake of their family's reputation, she tolerated her.
Damini, Sitara's mother, continued to slap her cheeks, which were turning red. Sitara begged her to stop, but she didn't. Just then, a gunshot was heard, and everyone rushed to the mandap.
As soon as they saw the Raisinghania family, they stood in the middle, surrounded by their stoic faces. A young man in his early 20s, wearing a black sherwani, showcased his well-built body. His wheatish skin was stained with blood from the bodyguards he had shot on his way. His face had well-crafted features with a sharp jawline, and his dark grey eyes held nothing but anger and rage.
Behind him stood his family with stoic faces. Why wouldn't they be? After all, their son , Gautham Raisinghania, had gone missing from his own engagement. Little did they know it was his own brother who had helped him escape the game of revenge! Yet, Evyansh, being clever, hid everything without leaving any trace of evidence.
But their family found out he had eloped with their rival's daughter. Anger surged through him; how could they find out when he didn't leave any trace? For the sake of his family, he thought to act like he didn't know anything. But one of their spy, who worked in the Oberai mansion, informed them that Oberai's daughter had also eloped from her wedding with their son.
Unable to control their anger, they started their journey to the wedding venue. Gautham Raisinghania, the elder son of Siren Raisinghania and Laila Siren Raisinghania, had rejected all his powers, thinking he could pass them to his brother. Siren Raisinghania might be a powerful businessman, but he was also involved in many illegal businesses, like drugs and human trafficking.
Laila Siren Raisinghania, who was an epitome of kindness, loved her family. Siren and Laila had an arranged marriage, which turned into a beautiful marriage as they loved each other and had two sons. They were a happy family until she got to know about her husband's misdeeds in illegal activities. She wasn't the one who encouraged this stuff.
There wasn't a single day without fighting; their once-beautiful family turned into a toxic family. The mansion, which echoed with their laughs, was now known for echoing with screams and arguments. He owned father started drinking and would get women every day in front of their own mother. Gautham, who was the elder brother of Evyansh, started protecting him from getting toxic.
In this chaos, they even forgot they had two innocent children who were suffering because of their misdeeds. Gautham became more understanding and mature than his age and started parenting Evyansh with all he could. Evyansh also started analyzing his surroundings. Their mother started her own makeup studio and got busy in it. She would have taken a divorce, but Siren Raisinghania didn't allow her to take the divorce and threatened her that he might harm her family if she did something like that.
Her coming from a middle-class background, she accepted her fate. Being in her sorrow and pain, she even forgot about her own kids. Siren always came home drinking alcohol, while Laila came late at night and went to her room. But what about their little ones? Who was suffering and yearning for their parents' love? For Evyansh, it was always Gautham who took care of him.
Gautham didn't like getting into the mafia's illegal stuff, but his father pestered him to take over his empire. Evyansh saw his brother getting suffocated. His brother was a simple person who hated this stuff to the core. Either he couldn't say no to their father; he thought, why not he take over their
Taking this as a chance, he told his father he would take over their empire. His father knew his sons' capabilities and didn't think much before saying Evyansh should take over the company. From there, Evyansh's life turned into a nightmare. He knew his brother deserved love and could see how much his bhabhi meant to his brother and how much they loved each other. He did this for his brother.
wedding venue, the atmosphere became more tense. The guests were tense because everyone knew how much the Rajsinghanias and Oberais hated each other. No one knew why they were rivals or what could happen now. Yet, everyone remained silent.
Siren's face turned red with rage and anger, and he roared, "Tanik Oberai, come out, you bastard!"
His voice sent shivers down everyone's spine, and everyone was drenched in sweat due to the tension. The Oberais came out and saw the Raisinghanias, and their blood boiled with anger. Tanik's eyes became red with rage, and with long strides, he reached Siren and held his collar. In return, Siren also held Tanik's collar. Both their bodies trembled with anger, while others trembled with fear, knowing how dangerous the Raisinghania and Oberai families were.
Tanik said, "Where is my daughter?"
Siren replied, "That's what I'm also asking where is my son?"
face hardened with anger, despite Gautham always teaching him to respect and love their parents and protect them. Though they did wrong to their children, they were still their parents, whom they could love after all.
Evyansh saw Sitara, who was trembling in fear, her cheeks red, and tears flowing from her eyes. Evyansh's heart skipped a beat at the sight of her. Seeing her, he sensed something had happened, just as his bhabhi said. He went near Sitara and, holding her wrist, yanked her closer to him. Sitara could feel his hot breath on her back. She started to wiggle from his hold and pleaded, "Leave me, please." What if he kills her?
Evyansh huskily whispered in his cold, deep voice, "Not soon, my enemy's daughter."
Shivers ran through her spine. Her eyes widened, wondering what if he harmed her. Evyansh shot a bullet in the air, causing everyone to look at him. Sitara flinched at the sound and sobbed, but Evyansh, being a heartless monster, didn't even care about her. Keeping the gun on Sitara's forehead, she trembled, wondering what if he shoots her. She closed her eyes in fear, started sweating more, and her body began to shiver, feeling the metal body of the gun on her forehead. She started sobbing for help, hoping someone could come and help her.
Everyone's attention was on them now. The Oberai family's mouth hung down in anger and shock; they didn't care about their daughter's life but about losing to their enemies, which would cost them their reputation too. Fear was encrypted in them.
Aditya roared at Evyansh, "Leave her, you bastard!"
Evyansh didn't flinch but smirked and said, "One step forward, and I won't mind sending all my bullets into your sister's skull."
His voice was cold. Aditya couldn't dare step forward because it could risk his sister's life.
Siren smirked in victory and said to Tanik in a cold, authoritative voice,
"See, Mr. Tanik Oberai, if I find my son with your daughter, it will be the last day of your daughter's life."
Tanik's face hardened with rage, and he said,
"And you think I will sit quietly if I see my daughter with your son? He will get the most brutal death in my hands."
Both glared at each other, their eyes red with anger, and everyone shivered with fear, wondering what might happen next.
Seeing the tension, Evyansh remembered his bhabhi's (Meera's) words and said,
"Mr. Oberai, until we get any information about them, your lovely daughter will be under my custody."
Siren smirked and signaled everyone to leave. With this, the Raisinghanias left. Sitara's eyes widened with his words. She looked at her family, hoping they could save her now, but everything went in vain. She stubbornly stood there, pleading, "Please leave me; I didn't do anything."
But nothing went to Evyansh's deaf ears; he dragged her out of the venue, leaving the angry Oberais behind. But the next thing Aditya did shocked everyone to the core
